There will be a variety of networking activities and numerous drinking parties during the event. We have set up a consultation service for cases of sexual harassment, power harassment, and alcohol harassment, or any other such behavior. The staff member in charge will be available for consultation. In addition, the privacy of your consultation and your personal information will be protected. Please feel free to consult with us instead of keeping your concerns to yourself. This service is open to everyone who are at IVS KYOTO, including participants and staff.

We IVS Kyoto Executive Committee remains unwavering in “No harassment” stance towards any individuals, companies, or organizations with whom it has any vested interests.

Based on the consultation we can take the following actions.

• Announcement such as “Alerts” from the organizer to all participants.
• A severe reprimand.
• Prohibition of admission to any project or event organized by us if a finding of fact is made.
• If there is a possibility of litigation or a case, or if it is judged to be difficult to solve by our management, we will cooperate with lawyers and related investigative agencies.
